AWS Intro
Overview
In this section, I will provide a brief introduction to my AWS experience and explain what you can expect to find here.
First, let me start with my AWS experience. During my previous employment, I worked for an AWS partner based in the United Kingdom that is highly regarded within the AWS community. This role provided an excellent opportunity for me to deepen my understanding of the entire AWS ecosystem.
In the company, I served as a Cloud Operations Engineer as part of the software development team. My responsibilities included designing and building architectures required for various projects. Additionally, I collaborated with customers to improve or re-architect their solutions through discovery sessions and by reporting potential improvements. This process involved meeting with clients to understand their goals and identifying areas for enhancement. I also created technical designs for their offerings.
The improvement process was conducted over a defined period established during initial meetings with the company. Once the technical designs were presented, clients had the option to proceed to a proof-of-concept stage before moving to a full production build-out. Moreover, while working in the software team, I contributed to helping the company achieve AWS competency—a particularly engaging and rewarding experience.
Now, how will this portfolio be structured? It will be divided into four main sections as follows:
- Compute
- Databases
- Networking
- Security
- Storage
Each post will be laid out in the following format

- Proof of concept Section from the list above
- Description of the proof of concept
